Dean Tidewatcher wasn't often concerned about the safety of his students, but an expedition to Moonglade during the Lunar Festival was somewhat different from a trip to ruins. For one, bandits were not as well armed or disciplined as druid Wardens patrolling the roads, to say nothing of the night elf Sentinels.

He hoped they wouldn't treat this expedition like a vacation. The availability of fireworks, a nearby inn with comfortable beds, and alcohol would certainly effect some of them, but most could be counted on to learn something this week. The others would need attention, and so the Dean had excused himself and taken to the skies.

Is good to finally get away from Silvermoon.

Aenni smiled as she gazed at Lake Elune'ara. She could just see Nighthaven and the waterfalls on the far side of the lake, and she could still hear the fireworks from the nearby celebration, but for now she was content just to be by herself--well, not completely by herself.

Kinda reminds me of the first time I came here. Was also during the Festival, two years ago. Didn't really do anything then, though. Just enjoyed the quiet and the scenery and the time away from the city and everything that just happened. Kinda like now. Is good to get away after everything that happened last term.

A low growl distracted Aenni from her thoughts, and as she looked over she saw Razoreye staring at her. Looking down, she saw Aryn looking up at her with a similar expression on her face. The raptor hatchling looked up and snapped her jaws at the sin'dorei, and Aenni chuckled softly.

"Want a treat, yeah?" Razoreye growled softly, and Aryn once again snapped her jaws as if in agreement. Aenni's smile widened as her hand drifted towards her belt, and the pouch hanging off it. "Okay, okay! Gimme just a minute and I'll--hey!"

Aenni sighed as she stared down at the third raptor, the one that had snuck up behind her and had started to grab the belt-pouch in his mouth. "What do you think you're doing, Kieran?"

The blue raptor let go of the bag and stared unblinkingly at the sin'dorei. Aenni recognized the look on his face all too well--it was the look he gave her every time he was caught trying to do something he shouldn't be doing, whether it be stealing a tube of paint or shredding her bedcovers or any of the other mischievous things he did ever since he was a hatchling. It was his attempt at an innocent, I-didn't-do-it-Mom! kind of look, and Aenni chuckled as she thought, not for the first time, that Renthal's cats did a much better job at appearing innocent than he did.
