THE SILVERMOON ACADEMY?

Here's all you ever needed to know about joining The Silvermoon Academy.

• Wyrmrest Accord is an RP server. Therefore, you must abide by the Blizzard-established rules for RP servers. Naming conventions are strictly governed by these rules. Please do not apply with characters that have names which violate the RP-server naming conventions (e.g., Arwen, Dapunisher, Legolas, Ihasakitteh, Lolpriest, etc.).
• We make fun of Special Snowflakes. While we are not "lore nazis" and understand that Blizzard tends to change their lore/canon with levity, we ask that your character concept at least fit the basic guidelines established by Blizzard and our guild. If you have any questions or need assistance fitting your character to the established Blizzard lore, please check out websites such as Wowpedia or the World of Warcraft main site. Please read our Guild Legacy and Policy on Roleplaying to assist you in fitting to our guild lore.
• Sometimes it takes a while for your app to get looked at. Every player that we accept has been approved by all the officers. The officers are normal, every-day human beings who have families, pets, and chores to attend to when they get home. Sometimes, it takes a week or two to fully process your app from submission to acceptance. Please be patient.
• If you repeatedly harass the officers' toons or other guild members about your application, we will reject your app. If you want an update on your application, e-mail the officers at carrlan@silvermoonacademy.net.
• We have an age limit. We are not a gore-oriented or sexual/cybersex/erotic RP guild. However we advocate mature and graphic themes within our plotlines, like you might find at any modern university or school of higher learning. The Academy is for adults and is a reflection of the adult world. Therefore, we are currently only admitting players who are adults -- age eighteen (18) and older. We do not make exceptions on the age limit.
• We have a level requirement (NEW). To promote greater player involvement in the Academy, we now require all potential applicants to be Level 30 or higher. We require all Death Knight players to be Level 65 or higher.
• DON'T SUBMIT YOUR APP USING A HOTMAIL/MSN/LIVE E-MAIL ADDRESS. Shivtr, our web host, does not accept Hotmail e-mail addresses due to abuse by spammers. There's nothing we can do about it, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We suggest using Yahoo! mail, or Google's Gmail.
• We accept all Horde races. We will not accept any Alliance races or High Elves.
